Jonathan Novak is an interdisciplinary designer and artist. Novak’s work combines traditionally disparate forms and media to create new opportunities for interpersonal interaction. By using graphic design as a touch point to build from he constructs directed experiences to examine individual versus collective behaviors. Novak received his BFA in graphic design at Maine College of Art where he developed an interdisciplinary and often collaborative approach to process and making. His work has shown in Design Philadelphia, and Queensland University Art Gallery in Brisbane. Novak is an active collaborator and works as a graphic designer and art director in Portland, Maine.
